One of the fundamental challenges with this technique is identifying the healthiest hairs among full-grown hair to harvest and graft the strongest follicles. This ensures the best possible results for the patient.
Similar to a conventional FUE hair transplant, each hair is removed individually from a donor area on a healthy part of the scalp. However, the unshaven method requires significantly more precision, as there is much more hair to work around.
The hair from the back and sides of the scalp must be long enough to cover the donor areas, making the procedure undetectable, especially on the sides.
* Unlimited hair transplant refers to the maximum amount of hair that can be extracted within one 8-hour procedure. The typical amount of hair ranges from 3000 to 6500 hairs. If more is required, a second session (procedure) will be necessary at an additional cost.
